Job Description
About the role:
As a Lead QAS Travel Officer, you will be responsible to manage and administer the QAS travel agency to deliver a high and consistent standard of service to all customers with efficiency to ensure efficiently deploy QAS travel and Tours resources to meet the requirement or handling all related services, including but not limited to the daily operational management of the agency, sales targets and development, staffing and financial management.
- Responsible to ensure the agencies deliver specialist, professional travel advice and offer a good range of competitive travel products to meet the demands of the customers.
- Promote and market the business, sometimes to new or niche markets in order to increase QAS Travel & Tours revenue.
- Responsible to sell travel products and tour packages by advertising through all customer airlines in order to promote sales and revenue.
- Manage budget utilization and maintain statistical and financial records for QAS senior management updates and for any future financial audit.
- Plan and organize QAS resources – manpower, equipment, and facilities for ensuring effective and efficient deployment of QAS resources to meet handling requirements of QAS customer airlines, passenger’s tickets, and reservations.
- Deal with disciplinary matters and customer complaints in liaison with CRPM (Customer Relation & Performance Manager) as a final point of contact between QAS and third parties

Qualifications
About you:
- An ideal candidate will have a minimum of relevant College or University Bachelor’s Degree with 4 years of relevant work experience.
- Experience in Travel & Tour discipline for 4 years.
- Experience in Travel & Tour Sale & revenue position holding role Managerial skills.
- Command of English language.
- Ability to train and develop subordinate’s skills. Ability to foster teamwork among.
- Managerial skills.
Preferred
- Worked in a similar role, preferably in the airline industry.
- Previous Airline experience of equivalent.
