Your day to day

Under the general guidance of the Human Resources Manager or delegate, and within the limits of established Policies, Procedures and Human Resources Manual, oversees the administration of the Hotel Clinic and providing medical assistance to all hotel colleagues, Colleagues welfare/relations and ensuring the effectiveness and efficiency in discharging all HR administrative functions.

What we need from you

Ideally, you’ll have some or all of the following competencies and experience we’re looking for:

• Minimum one year of experience as a Nurse/HR Admin or a similar role in a luxury hotel and/or resort

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to work well with a diverse team

• Flexibility in shifts

Your day to dayTo coordinate the functions and activities of the outlet with the outlet’s employees in the absence of Manager. To assist in overseeing and directing all aspects of the outlet under the general guidance and direction of the Manager, or his/her delegate and within the limits of the established InterContinental Hotels Group policies and procedures.

What we need from you

• Communication skills – guests will need to come to you with concerns as well as compliments, so you’ll be easy to talk to • Your problem-solving skills will turn issues into opportunities so every guest leaves with great memories • Fluency in the local language – extra language skills would be great, but not essential Literate and tech-savvy – you’ll need a good grasp of reading, writing, basic maths and computers • Flexibility – night, weekend and holiday shifts are all part of the job • You’ll have a high school diploma or qualification. A college or university degree would be a bonus, but not essential • Experience – ideally you’ll have spent at least one year in a food & beverage or guest service position Strength – sometimes you’ll need to lift, push and pull big objects up to 50lbs (23 kg). This can involve bending and kneeling

Your day to dayyou are responsible to manage conferences & Events in the overall operation to ensure efficient and professional assistance with the meeting groups resulting in client satisfaction and hotel profitability. Also, you will work with the F&B Services Manager to manage the scope of the service elements of our Conferencing business. You will be focused on creating an amazing environment that encourages our team to deliver an exceptional level of service – ensuring our clients and guests feel that amazing experiences have been created. Also, responsible to meet the assigned sales target for the weddings segment, by acquiring and converting them into wedding business contracts. Point of contact for wedding couples from conversion to execution of the event Understanding of wedding trends and translating into creative ideas for wedding couples. Preferable local candidate and Arabic Speaking

What we need from you

Experience in the same/similar role in the hotel industry. • Due to the nature of the role, fluency in the Arabic language is highly preferred, and familiarity with the Qatar market is an advantage. • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. • Ability to diagnose problems, thoroughly analyze information and solve problems • Strong planning and execution skills. • Strong adaptability in an environment of ambiguity or change. • Good mathematical skills, including basic math, budgeting, profit/loss concepts, percentages, and variances are utilized frequently • Experience in a similar capacity, working for the hospitality sector • Proven track records in wedding sales, planning, and execution • An excellent communicator and a good listener to understand the wedding couples and their requirements

Your day to day• Prepare all administration documents required by the Hotel sales team. • Coordinate all familiarization and site inspections as required. • Attend to all sales department mail and maintain a correspondence database. • Assist with direct mail campaigns. • Statistical collation on behalf of sales (weekly). • Maintain filing systems (manual and electronic). • Maintenance and management of database • Assist with promotions and familiarization where requested.

What we need from you

• Experience 2-3 years in a similar role • Experience in Reservation, Guest Relations, and Front Office is an added advantage • Ability to effectively communicate in English, in both written and oral forms. • Be friendly, customer-centric, smile, and able to work in a team environment. • Strong organization skills • Demonstrates a high level of interpersonal skills • Excellent IT literacy including Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint • Ability to develop and maintain relationships e.g., associates, customers, and vendors • Ability to work collaboratively with other hotel departments to provide exceptional customer service
