What you’ll be doing
At Chalhoub we share leading brands with the world. Working as a Perfumes Consultant you will be responsible for achieving optimum sales and targets by ensuring a high level of customer service and professional standards. You will also be responsible for giving perfume advice to your clients and guiding them through perfume and allergy routines with suitable products.
- You will build and maintain customer relationships in order to build strong loyalty
- Address customers’ queries about products, prices, availability, product uses, and services
- Communicate with customers to assess their needs, provide assistance in satisfying those needs and meeting or surpassing customers’ expectations
- Advise customers on product ranges best suited to their needs
- Demonstrate usage and benefits of various Brands and products
- Handle new launches, promotion of products and visual merchandising
- Generate sales, while achieving line and sales targets, using fragrance knowledge
- Push fragrance sales during events, promotions and launches
- Track sell-out targets at store level
- Generate daily sales reports
- Connect with clients remotely to drive traffic to store or e-commerce platform (if applicable)
- Participate in achieving incentives and track post launch sales at store level
- Ensure merchandising levels in the store are met as per the brand guidelines
- Ensure in store stock replenishment in the appropriate shelves/counters, at appropriate times
- Report stock shortages using the stock order form
- Ensure stock receipt as per set procedures
- Maintain cleanliness in area of responsibility
- Follow all company procedures in ordering, cash handling and other common practices

eCommerce Operations Associate
Our Ecommerce Operations Associate is responsible for the fulfillment of ecommerce orders in offline channel (retail stores) with the greatest sense of urgency and efficiency. Responsibilities include and not limited to receiving, picking, packing, processing, organizing and managing online orders and stock.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve e-commerce sales target
- Comply with System processes to fulfil accurately and timely e-com orders in the storers, and pack them according to standards.
- Ensure accuracy of SOH records in the stores vs system.
- Ensure availability of ecommerce PLVs including but not limited to ecommerce boxes in all sized, ecommerce samples
- Ensure compliance of receiving practices with established SOP for all GWP, PWPs and other zero-value stock
- Support frontline team in returns processing
- Ensure knowledge transfer to other team members and sharing awareness of hybrid approach in retail
- Report instantly about identified technical errors with IT Service Desk and take necessary action to explain issue and keep communication with support team
- Report instantly about identified shortages in stock and take necessary action to explain issue with the concerned stakeholders to update their records in the system
- Handle timely e-com returned orders to the stores and process duly and accurately their transactions in the system
- Whenever necessary, provide feedback to the concerned stakeholders to streamline working processes and improve their efficiency
- Ensure compliance with Omnichannel system processes and operating policies and procedures.
- Fulfill timely and accurately e-com orders received in the stores.
- Ensure that order items and quantities are accurate and in good selling conditions before packing
- Pack the orders as per trained and communicated standards
- Ensure orders are packed before collection time by Delivery Service Provider
- Ensure orders are packed before collection time given to customer for Click&Collect orders
- Ensure that all orders collected are well documented and maintain records of collection by Delivery Service Provider and deliveries to Customer.

What you’ll be doing
At Chalhoub, we share leading brands with the world. As a Marketing Executive you will be responsible for handling advertising and promotional activities, oversee everything to do with the customer database, as well as optimising service and in store experience for our customers.
Advertising and Promotional Activities:
- Analyse competition, best practices and new trends in local market and report to Marketing team
- Assist in building marketing plan / calendar for the different chains/brands/ markets in close co-operation with the Department Manager and the Brand’s marketing departments
- Assist the Store Manager in the development of the sales force animation program (staff training, incentives, data collection)
- Be involved in all aspects of marketing and media from planning, advertising, promotions, public, media relations, product development and research
- Build, maintain and update good database (CRM) through consolidate information from shop floors
- Carry out local market research, customer survey, assessing customer demands, brand positioning, monitor competitors’ activities, and evaluating market campaigns
- Channel all suppliers and customers information (animation / training / launch plan) to stores/shop managers, area, and Department/ Division Manager
- Collect customer feedback to define actions that will attract new customers and returning customers more often
- Communicate all required information about animation / visibility to the suppliers
- Conduct monthly reports on customer insights, sales analysis, and traffic in store
- Coordinate with advertising agencies and clients on media plans
- Coordinate, organise and ensure implementation of the operational in-store action plan to increase customer acquisition, retention, satisfaction, cross sell & up sell sales and services
Customer Data Base:
- Define the media and PR plan by briefing the advertising agency
- Ensure preserving the image of the brand at the POS by respecting its merchandising guidelines
- Follow up closely on the plans’ implementation, schedule and activities in all concerned markets
- Handle live coverage on social media platforms
- Handle the marketing plan forecast and the marketing plan orders
- Handle translation of all the documents
- Implement the in-store marketing animation plan/guidelines
- Inform purchasing supervisor about marketing activities to ensure the availability of the stock timeframe
- Liaise with the different departments to build the latter
- Manage and coordinate with concerned parties for the production of marketing materials being from leaflets, visuals, podiums, flyers, and preparing necessary photo shoots to pro reading press releases
- Manage the various marketing budgets to organize corporate above the line and below the line promotional / advertising activities and corporate items purchase
Marketing and Promotional Plans
- Meet and discuss with local suppliers for all marketing bookings and animations
- Monitor Store KPI’s
- Monitor windows, podiums and any other promotional area ensuring promotional activities throughout the year, in coordination with the design department (3D)
Optimize service & in-store experience:
- Organise, attend events, and exhibitions
- Oversee the performance of the campaigns and promotions and report it to the Marketing team
- Participate in relevant projects and community activities as and when needed
- Plan and follow-up on promotions in coordination with the different area managers and the training and promotion manager
- Prepare monthly management report comparing the budget verses the stock
- Prepare monthly updated report of expenses
- Present the various marketing plans to the stores/ shop managers and ensure its proper implementation
- Secure sponsorship to assist with the publicity and funding of marketing projects
- Send the catalogues, new price lists and miscellaneous information to the customers
- Splitting the media investments by product line and by media support to respect the brand’s media strategy and the total budget initially set by the Area Manager/ Department Manager

Our Beauty Consultant is accountable for counter cleanliness, stock replenishment, handling new launches, promotion of products and merchandising. Our Consultant is also required to maintain high levels of standards in terms of grooming.
