As the business expands, we are pleased to announce an incredibly exciting opportunity to join our Cargo Operations Team in Luxembourg as a Regional HUB Operations Manager. The role includes:

• Responsible for the smooth, on time and cost efficient cargo operations at the hub through close management, steering, supervision and controlling of own staff and that of the GHA and other local service providers, with the objective to meet and exceed the minimum level of defined service standard and optimum utilization of available capacity.
• Foster and maintain a professional and efficient interface with key internal and external stakeholders, in particular the network stations within the European Area as well as the DOH hub departments and overseas network stations feeding the hub with cargo.
• Continuously monitor and develop adherence to regulations outlined by local authorities, regulatory bodies and ensure strict compliance to IATA regulations for effective movement of inbound and outbound cargo whilst reducing operational costs involved.
• Management of safety, security and operational compliance matters at the hub.
• Initiate, monitor and implement steps to improve the quality of service and operational standards of Qatar Airways Cargo.
• Prepare and perform technical evaluation of own station and support for other network station.

Qualifications

About you

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent with at least 5 years of job-related experience in aviation or logistics industry
• Industry related experience out of which minimum 2-3 years on the managerial or supervisory level
• Knowledge in air cargo operations
• Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to motivate and engage a globally dispersed team
• Excellent written and spoken in English language skills
• Have the current legal right to live and work in Luxembourg
