Your day to day• Answer the telephone in an efficient, courteous manner within 3 rings. • Provides quick courteous response to express requests. • Ensure that the guest laundry is received with a laundry slip and with full details of guest i.e. name, room number, signature. • If any special guest request is there update on the board and follow up to ensure requirements met. • Express laundry & Pressing to be delivered to guest with in the required time. • All laundry upon receiving & delivery need to be updated in the log book. • Responsible for charging guest laundry bill to the rooms through Micros. • Quality of the guest garments has to be checked before delivery and if any stains which is not possible to remove has to be sent with the stain card. • DND procedure need to follow up. • DND and No post laundries have to be handed over to the next shift. • Completion of the discount form/void form (if any) with manager signature must be forwarded to finance. • Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and condition of the laundry trolleys. • To assist colleagues during daily peak periods • Assists in linen inventories. • Participate in Housekeeping meetings and make suggestions for improvements to the Laundry Supervisor • Participates in the multi – skilling philosophy of the department • To respond to changes in the department function as dictated by the Industry , Company and Hotel • Carries out any other requests by the Housekeeping leaders • Ensures that all paperwork done on each shift is completed and filed. • Ensure all staff are using correct procedures during the course of their shift. • Preparation of reports signed off by uniform attendant and Supervisor on shift. • Filing of documentation is in order. • Ensure paper communication is signed by appropriate person. • Stock take of non uniform supplies is tracked. • Laundry reports are correct, signed and filed. •

Your day to day• Develop and implement Key Account Management Plans in conjunction with voco® Doha West Bay business plan, including direct sales, telesales, direct mail, promotions and famils. • Develop key accounts and target accounts within corporate & identify market segments. • Maintain and regularly update database including details of sales calls and client information as per company guidelines. • Produce and conduct familiarization & entertainment programs for voco® Doha West Bay for identified target accounts. • Communicate with other hotel departments to ensure superior quality service delivery to all customers. • Maintain detailed awareness of booking patterns, room night productivity, cancellations and any other factors that may impact results. • Maintain strong awareness of and take proactive measures in response to industry trends, economic factors, seasonality, competitor activity and other external events that may impact results. • Liaise closely with the Reservations, Sales Administrator and Sales Executives for lead generation and potential business opportunities. • Ensure that all personal accountabilities and deadlines set in the Business Plan are met • Participate in industry trade shows, events and promotions as required. • Maintain professional business confidentiality. • Prepare any other reports required by the Director of Sales and Marketing or General Manager. Conduct yourself in a professional manner at all times and maintain high grooming standard. Sales • Conduct site inspections • Conduct a minimum of sales calls per week in accordance with the business plan. • Cold calling to secure new business sales calls/appointments • Telemarketing • Communicate and follow through with hotel departments to ensure that the sales commitment is being fulfilled • Assist with market intelligence and information gathering of benefit to the hotel. What we need from you

PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS Education • Bachelor of Science in Administration or Hotel Management degree • Tertiary qualifications relevant to Marketing or Sales would be an advantage Experience • Previous experience within a hotel sales environment in an internationally recognized hotel chain at managerial level for at least 3 to 5 years within the Qatar market. • Current/previous responsibility for key accounts and new business generation in premium markets. • Track record of achieving sales targets. • Existing corporate accounts in the Qatar market. • Demonstrated ability to manage own and others tasks through to conclusion. • Ability to lead presentations, conduct effective negotiations and close deals. • Technical • Competent Word, Excel, PowerPoint and software packages • High proficiency in English language oral and written skills • Highly organized, able to coordinate the efforts of others and manage multiple assignments and projects. • Knowledge of hotel PMS (HIS, Opera) and other industry related software programs. Your day to day

• Be fully conversant with all hotel facilities and services. • To process check-in and check-out according to the hotel policies and procedures. • To complete the guest’s registration form and ensure all details are accurately captured. • Courteously and promptly handle all reservations enquiries on phone, emails, etc. • Act on flags and special requests. • Membership Enrolment to offered at any point of contact for non-member Guest. • Ensure all guest complaints are dealt with immediately, then followed up according to the procedures and all complaints registered in the logbook. • Supervise the lobby area to ensure they are tidy at all times, including in house music. Report and follow up on any defects and technical faults in the public areas. • Ensure that Maximum Courtesy calls given to arrivals and in House to ensure of Guests Satisfaction and record it in PMS. • Maintain detailed awareness or information regarding arrivals, their accommodation requirements, special needs and expected departures of the day. • Follow up VIP reservations and issue VIP amenities and any other special service requests in accordance with hotel practices. • Prepare all records connected with pre-registration for VIP, extended stays and repeat guests. • Makes morning/evening rounds in the hotel to know of any positive or negative feedback from the guests and reports them to management. • Actual selling of hotel facilities and special events. • Answer queries on house facilities and places of tourist interest. • Assure accountability for cash float issued. • Maintain confidentiality with regard to guest’s personal information. • Provide assistance to guests on all matters relating to their stay. • Act on any complaint received.

What we need from you

RESPONSIBLE BUSINESS • Possess a thorough knowledge of operations, cashiering and telephone policies and procedures. • Prepare room discrepancy report and ensure a double checking is made with housekeeping and change of status. • Communicate all departures to housekeeping promptly • Ensure that all irregularities are reported to your immediate supervisor. • Report Metal & Master keys not retrieved or lost to Front Office Manager

FINANCIAL RETURN • To ensure that the hotel’s credit and payment policy is adhered at all times. • Maintain cash float & reconcile daily • Follow up payment of in house accounts.

PEOPLE • Oversee work performance of new GSAs when it comes to posting, audit and cash balance reporting. • Help train new hires on-the-job-trainees (On the Job Training) and cross-trainees in the front office department.
