Job Description
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Learning Support Teacher to join the Lower School at ACS Doha campus.

Essential qualifications, skills and experience
Educated to Bachelors degree or international equivalent as a minimum in the relevant subject

Job Description
ACS International Schools is looking to appoint a new Head of School for our dedicated IB school in Doha. This is a pivotal and high-profile leadership role at ACS and the ideal candidate will have the desire and ambition to match our aspirations.
Since opening its doors in 2011, ACS Doha has become a top international school in Qatar with excellent facilities, an inclusive community, and a rigorous international curriculum that includes the International Baccalaureate and Advanced Placement programmes. In September 2020, the School opened a new landmark campus in Al-Kheesa with outstanding facilities and innovative learning spaces designed to accommodate boys and girls aged between 3–18 representing more than 70 different nationalities. Experience:
• At least two years experience as a Head of School, as well as substantial experience in an international context with a proven ability to promote international mindedness in staff and students.

• Extensive experience of achieving high standards as expressed and assessed by international and local regulators and inspection organisations.

Job Description
ACS are looking for Substitute Teachers to join their team on a casual basis. We are looking for Teachers with experience of teaching different subjects and age groups.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
- Educated to bachelor’s degree (or international equivalent) minimum – related subjects
- Teaching qualification or equivalent teaching experience, working with students grade K-12
- Strong IT skills preferred, good IT skills essential
- Experience teaching the IB or AP curriculum is preferred but not essential
- Demonstrates consistently high standards of personal and professional conduct
- Ability to comply with written and or oral instructions
- Ability to create an efficient working relationship with other personnel
- Proficiency in maintaining efficient classroom management skills
- Fluent in English
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Implements/delivers effective lessons as outlined by the absent teacher
- Creates a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interests of the students
- Maintains established routine of the school and classroom procedures in which assigned
- Maintains reasonable rules of conduct that encourage self-discipline and responsibility
- Takes all necessary and reasonable precautions to protect students, equipment, materials, and facilities
- Reports all student injuries, accidents, illnesses, and discipline problems to the supervisor and school personnel immediately
- Communicates effectively with parents when/as needed
- Makes provisions to be available to students and parents for education-related purposes outside the instructional day when required or requested to do so under reasonable terms
- May supervise students in out-of-class settings (e.g., assemblies, lunchroom, schoolyard)

- Maintains regular attendance and punctuality
- Attends staff meetings, serves on staff committees, and completes other duties as assigned (i.e. cover for other academic support positions).
