Assistant-DC – (21000616)

  • Maintenance of entire storages areas in warehouses
  • Moving items from container to warehouses and later warehouse to retail floor for SRN, Deliveries etc
  • Assisting loading / offloading teams to load/unload items
  • Assisting in the maintenance of miscellaneous works like painting, electrical works, cleaning, housekeeping and safety etc
  • Packing/fixing all sold items
  • Assisting carpenters on deliveries (applicable in Home centre only)
  • Sorting, Bar-coding, Pricing, Hangering & Tagging of stocks

Job Description

Position:

IT ADMINISTRATOR **Please note that we are only accepting applications from candidates which are located in Doha as this is an urgent hire.

Job Overview:

 You will manage Information Technology functions for both Mind Institute and Little Academy Nursery. You will be responsible for reporting directly to the Director and Managers. Key duties include but are not limited to the below:

  • Maintain information technology strategies.
  • Maintains staff’s IT records and Manages staff IT concerns.
  • Coordinating, planning, and leading computer-related activities. Determine the IT needs and responsibilities for implementing computer systems to fulfill the organization’s information systems requirements, computer networks, managing telecommunications systems and other electronic support systems related to the company operations.
  • Manage and lead the design and deployment of new IT systems and services, websites and Social media. Ensure website updates in liaison with the Marketing team.
  • Monitor performance of information technology systems to determine cost and productivity levels, and to make recommendations for improving the IT infrastructure
  • Analyze business requirements to develop solutions for IT needs
  • Plans, organize, control, evaluate, monitors, assess vendors and develop test strategies for new hardware and software, IT and electronic data operations as well as Configuration, installation, networking and maintenance
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues related to internal IT
  • Design, develop, implement and coordinate systems, policies and procedures
  • Act in alignment with user needs and system functionality to contribute to organizational policy
  • Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in time
  • Audit systems and assess their outcomes.
  • Preserve assets, information security and control structures; Maintain an efficient filing system and ensure secure and appropriate storage of all confidential and sensitive data. Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems
  • Ensure smooth functioning of day to day work of all services and are effectively delivered, monitored, reported and evaluated
  • Maintain accurate information on renewals for nursery/center places ensuring that accurate information is recorded in the database
  • Order & maintain machinery and general office, IT supplies for the center, and to ensure stocks are held and are purchased within budgetary limits
  • Coordinate with all departments for IT related needs and on specific tasks allotted if any
  • Firm grasp on IT infrastructure and operations best ongoing and foreseen practices.

The candidate must have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 2-5 years of experience working in IT operations
  • Excellent working knowledge of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases and data storage systems, and phone systems and others; Excellent knowledge of technical management and understanding, information analysis and of computer hardware/software systems
  • Hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration and network installation
  • Ability to manage personnel
  • Optional product or system certification

Job Description

To serve as chief advocate for each child enrolled in your EIP classroom and design learning programs tailored to relative strengths and areas of need as identified on the child’s IEP. As a Special Educator, you will provide learning opportunities to meet the needs of children with a range of learning, emotional, physical and mental disabilities.

In this role you are responsible for planning, developing, delivering and evaluating appropriate individualized educational services, learning programs and instruction for children in collaboration with other professionals within Mind Institute. Your scope of responsibility extends to all educational aspects of each child both inside and outside of the classroom environment.

To follow set center protocols, including:

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide 1:1 and group sessions.
  • Review new children’s BIOs.
  • Review and approve the weekly lesson plans for each class.
  • Review the Individual Educational Plans (IEP).
  • Review the weekly progress notes in the communication books and on Write Upp to ensure that all are following the SOAP (Subjective, Objective, Assessment, Plan) way.
  • Review progress reports before sending it to the Clinical Director for final approval.
  • Supervise the Special Educators and Teacher Assistants to make sure that all are following the same behavior management/ teaching strategies and that all IEP objectives are based on the ABLLS curriculum.
  • Provide parents with information and support to help in the progress of the children.
  • Supervise, organize and create learning resources to assist in the development of the children.
  • Plan activities and field trips to help children generalize their acquired skills.
  • Evaluate and specify the relative educational strengths and areas of need for each child.
  • To monitor and review the progress of children against the care aims and set goals, modifying these goals as appropriate.
  • Coordinate with the multidisciplinary team providing support to children.
  • Prepare progress reports every three months.
  • Organize and manage daily routines within the classroom.
  • Create engaging learning activities and use appropriate resources.
  • Act as a role model for Learning Support Assistants.
  • Train and assign tasks to all Learning Assistants under your supervision.
  • Implement effective support strategies for an individual’s behaviors in coordination with the assigned psychologist.
  • Effectively manage group behaviors in coordination with the assigned psychologist.
  • Ensure systems are in place for regular reporting and feedback to parents re progress towards communication target.
  • Demonstrate the ability to reflect on practice with peers and supervisors.
  • Work with others to improve the effectiveness of service delivery.
  • Listen openly and apply suggestions made by the Assistant Manager. Perform related duties as assigned.
  • Attend staff and in-service meetings, training, and events as required.
  • Maintain professional knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.

Administrative Duties

  • To undertake general administrative tasks, such as compiling reports and progress notes based on observations and informal assessments, making telephone calls and ensuring all child information is up to date.
  • Making weekly notes for each child on Write-upp.
  • Ensuring you update each child’s communication book twice per week relating to daily activities.

· Upon resignation or termination, prepare, before the notice period is complete, progress reports for all children enrolled in your EIP program.
