Job Description

Senior Accountant  (2100001L)
  • Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded
  • Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations
  • Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines
  • Reviewing all the expenses, payroll records manpower allocation etc. as assigned
  • Handling the letter of credit documents and payments.
  • Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed
  • Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports
  • Assist senior accountants in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings
  • Assist with other accounting projects
  • Survey operations to ascertain accounting needs and to recommend, develop, and maintain solutions to business and financial problems
  • Advise management about issues such as resource utilization and the assumptions underlying budget forecasts (Cost control)
  • Develop, implement, modify, and document recordkeeping and accounting systems, assuring use of current computer technolog
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as an accountant in Contracting companies at least 4 years or Auditor with at least 3 years experience
  • Excellent organizing abilities
  • Great attention to detail
  • Good with numbers and figures and an analytical acumen
  • Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with relevant computer software

  • Proactively plan, identify, generate, and manage new opportunities to support large scale business development

  • Negotiating the terms of an agreement and closing sales

  • She should have spent most of their sales career focusing on customers and should have in-depth knowledge of understanding customers’ requirements and providing customize solution.
  • She should understand, develop and execute business plan; Gross Profit (GP), Volume, Revenue targets.
  • Generate new business, retain existing business, garner incremental business from existing customers as well.
  • Should generate sales lead and develop new clients
  • Developing a strong database/pipeline of prospective customers.
  • Coordinate and support local/regional sales team on lead sharing, providing.
  • Understand the requirement of clients and co-ordinate with different departments for customized business proposal.
  • Value/Solution selling, Negotiations, post sales follow up, retaining and enhancing relationship with key stake holders (internal/external Coordinate with implementation and operation teams for smooth customer onboarding and operational implementation.
