Job Description

Ensure collection of outstanding debt within the agreed credit terms and minimize bad debt.

Maintain customer and salesperson satisfaction through communication and effective account management.

  • Execute company’s Credit Policy.
  • Achieve DSO targets as agreed with Financial Controller.
  • Achieve overdue target as agreed with Financial Controller.
  • Lead, train and coordinate the credit team.
  • Manage risk and minimize overdue exposure through maximizing payment security.
  • Evaluate customers to assign or amend Credit Terms.
  • Liaise with Sales to control supply and strict implementation of credit limits.
  • Maintain frequent contact significant customers regarding their accounts including reminders and Dunning letters.
  • Liaise with leasing partner and provision of customer data.
  • Prepare monthly Accounts Receivable Status reports for Head Office.
  • Prepare frequent Aging Reports and Collection targets for Management and for Sales Dept.
  • Other ad hoc reports and analysis as required by Financial Controller.
  • Maintain customer files and master data.
  • Gain a strong understanding of the ERP system and it’s capabilities to automate workload.
  • Frequent communication with salesmen to improve their understanding of the importance of credit.
  • Communication with customer’s accounts departments / other departments to ensure collections are ready for pickup
  • Prepare and keep records of the submitted invoices
  • Supervision of issuance of receipts and check collection services done by the Service Provider

Carry out other duties as assigned by the Financial Controller.

  • Bachelor Degree in Commerce/Finance or an equivalent qualification.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English and Arabic (preferable)
  • High level of written and spoken communications (essential)
  • Professional appearance, attitude and communication style (essential)

Job Description

Serve as a help desk agent to ensure delivery of first class professional service to customers.

  • Search for the callers’ machine details in Winserve (machine serial number, customer name, telephone number);
  • Verify the machines’ contract validity in Winserve, and if the contract is valid proceed with logging the service call;
  • If machine is not under contract, send the customer service quotation and then proceed on logging the call upon the customers’ approval;
  • Insert in the service call the full problem description of the machine;
  • Dispatch the service calls to the engineers directly or notify the service supervisor and follow up on the called-in calls with the engineers (make sure the service call will be attended as per target response time)
  • Take the service calls details from the engineers over the phone or after receiving the job order, and fill the details in Winserve before closing the service call
  • Encode the received job order details
  • File the job orders alphabetically after encoding them in a box file
  • Create the new delivered machines in Winserve and arrange for the installation with the engineers
  • File the completed installed machines
  • Reply to all service query emails.
  • Log and reply to customers’ emails with the call reference number
  • Follow up incomplete calls and parts
