An International Media company with a long-standing presence in Doha, Qatar is currently in search of an experienced Employment Legal Counsel to join their team in Doha.
Key Requirements:
- You would be admitted to practice in the UK or France and have at least 6-8 years of post-qualification experience.
- You must have experience working at a major international law firm or multinational organization within an Employment Advisory practice.
- You would have prior experience in working on contentious and non-contentious employment matters such as reviewing and drafting employment contracts and termination notices, compensation, and benefits policies, rolling out global HR policies, having a thorough understanding and liaising with employment tribunals and assisting other operation companies.
- Knowledge of Qatari Employment Law would be advantageous but not essential
- Given the nature of work, you would ideally be based in Doha, but international candidates with the relevant experience are also encouraged to apply.
- The ability to speak Arabic is beneficial to this role but not essential.
