Job Description 

Manager – Education Travel & Products

Qatar Airways Location Doha, Qatar Category Corporate & Commercial Job Id 146597

In this role you will be responsible for creating packages that enable international access to education related travel and events in Qatar by liaising with Discover Qatar internal teams and specialist external parties.  Working in close association with Qatar Tourism, and education travel specialists, to maximize commercial potential. Focusing on developing the DQ education portfolio, which will support business improvement and commercial opportunities for Discover Qatar and Qatar Airways through international distribution.

• Identify key markets and develop a calendar of products, with promotional plans and product launch dates
• Recommend suitable products to package with the relevant educational content
• Identify distribution channels for sales, and ensure licence compliance with relevant education governing bodies
• Setting sales targets and KPI’s in consultation with DQ Management

Qualifications

Relevant college or University qualification to minimum Bachelor’s level

8+ years of Job experience

5 years management experience

Strong knowledge of Destination Management/ Inbound Tour Operator experience.

Must have Education travel projects background/ experience
