Job Description
Position Summary
The position will be responsible for coordination of all activities related to accreditation, acting as the custodian of educational documentation, policies and procedures, and responsible for ensuring compliance of the Medical Program.
Job Responsibilities
- Designated as the lead administrator to coordinate and support all activities directly related to the accreditation of the Medical Program at WCM-Q.
- Responsible for working collaboratively with academic leadership, faculty and staff to develop and maintain the accreditation process. Researches and collects data to support program accreditation, including analyzing, summarizing and presenting results.
- Develops data collection methods congruent with the needs of the Medical Program.
- Responsible for the integrity, maintenance and security of the data.
- Leads, liaises, and contributes to establish processes for ensuring and documenting compliance with accreditation standards and requirements.
- Identifies, designs and maintains a software application for the management of educational/curricular data in collaboration with ITS.
- Provides customized internal data extraction to support review of teaching and curricular activities.
- Ensures compliance with policies for records retention, and establishes regular review schedules for effective data management.
- Responsible for developing and maintaining educational materials and publications for the effective management of the curriculum, examples include the Student Handbook and the Course/Clerkship Directors’ Handbook.
- Develops and maintains interactive online documents for the divisional web-pages, examples include curriculum charts and academic calendars.
- Drafts and maintains educational policies and procedures pertaining to the Medical Program in collaboration with key stakeholders.
- Collaborates with appropriate stakeholders onsite and at the WCM campus to ensure best practice and compliance with overall educational governance policies and procedures.
- Provides support for ad hoc projects.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree
Experience
Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline (preferably Education Management) with 7-8 years of relevant experience in education policy and documentation support.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Good analytical and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize work and deadlines.
- Able to work proactively and independently, as well as a team member.
- Fluent in spoken and written English.
- Advanced level proficiency in MS Suite of products including Word, Excel and Power point, and professional diagram software, e.g. Visio.
- Must be able to effectively compile, write and present reports.
- Substantial experience of database software use and management.
- Ability to interpret academic and administrative policies and procedures, an advantage.
- Must have the ability to make independent decisions and exercise sound judgment.

Position Summary
The position is responsible for aiding in implementing the EHS program at the college. The incumbent works closely with the QF contractors on the organization’s environmental health, safety, and security matters.
Job Responsibilities
- Enforces policies and procedures required to support in implementing the EHS plan.
- Conducts risk assessments to anticipate, identify, evaluate, and control potential workplace threats and hazards.
- Implements the risk mitigation measures as directed.
- Conducts inspections to ensure compliance with college policies, procedures, regulatory requirements, and best management practices.
- Compiles and reports the inspection results and other metrics to the senior members of the team.
- Maintains all EHS documents related to incidents, frameworks, policies, and plans.
- Supports the emergency preparedness program and consults with emergency response personnel to protect people, property, and assets.
- Supports emergency communications systems to ensure prompt and effective communication with relevant stakeholders.
- Assists with developing emergency plans, including response and recovery phases for various incidents and emergencies.
- Responds to and serves as part of an emergency team to fires, hazardous material spills, and other emergency issues.
- Builds effective partnerships with staff, faculty, and students throughout the college, sharing appropriate information and helping when needed.
- Liaises and works with QF HSSE personnel on various projects and operational tasks.
- Provides EHS support as required for other members of the FHSS team. Supports external inspections as needed.
- Supports EHS-related training efforts as required.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Health and Safety or related discipline with 5 – 6 years of experience in general environmental health, safety and security.
- Previous environmental health and safety experience in a research, hospital or medical education environment is highly desirable.
- The achievement of one or more of the following professional certifications or equivalents is desirable:
- Registered or Certified Biological Safety Professional, ABSA International.
- Certified Hazardous Material Manager, Institute of Certified Hazardous Materials Managers.
- Certified Safety Professional, Board of Certified Safety Professionals.
- Certified Industrial Hygienist, American Board of Industrial Hygiene.
- Certified Health Physicist (CHP), American Board of Health Physics.
- Completing Basic Life Support (CPR/AED) and First Aid courses is desirable.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Understands safety and environmental management systems (e.g., OSHAS 18001 and/or ISO 14001).
- Knowledge of Qatar-based EHS compliance and safety measures is desirable.
- Good working knowledge of biosafety, chemical hygiene, and radiation protection programs.
- Diligent with an ability to conduct inspections and seek ways for continual improvement.
- Good critical thinking skills and sound decision-making.
- Ability to work in a multicultural environment.

Working Conditions/Physical Demands

- Participates in the implementation of educational technology and consults with various stakeholders to establish buy-in.
- Ensures automation solutions and workflows are in line with business requirements.

- Develops and manages onboarding materials and a library of videos on technical usage.

- Assess and provides support for the overall integration of ongoing technology programs in medical education, including curriculum/learning management systems (Elentra, ExamSoft etc.).

Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in information technology, health sciences, education, or business administration.
- Certification in Business Relationship Management (BRMP); Project Management Professional (PMP) is preferred.
- 7 – 8 years of progressive experience in medical education technology implementation and delivery with an emphasis on functional knowledge and stakeholder management.
