Job Purpose
You will be the face of IT for the procurement of tools and 3rd party vendor products, facilitating procurement related activities like RFP, RFQ and Tender process and coordinating the technical evaluations with SME and Stakeholders. You will lead and facilitate procurement related activities for IT in partnership with IT line of business from requirement gathering through to a procured tool/software.
You will lead the project team for collecting, understanding and documenting business requirements (functional and non-functional), project effort estimation, project scheduling and translating those into functional and system design specifications.
Job role and responsibilities
- Manage the delivery of subprojects or small systems and solutions, within the established procedures, quality standards and methods to achieve the targets of schedule, cost, quality, and ROI.
- Manage the assigned IT projects through the use of proven Software Development Life Cycle processes
- In case of 3 party vendor application implementations, you will be responsible for supporting business with the technical aspects of the procurement processes, liaise with external vendors, support installation of the application and business implementation activities which includes testing (functional and NFR), production roll-over, post implementation SLA, monitoring and Change Request management.
- You will be responsible working in close coordination with the QRIT and other QR Group departments, business users and subject matter experts.
- Conduct root cause analysis of reported incidents in operational systems and ensure the right changes are made in compliance with QRIT governance processes.

Qualifications
About You
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing the procurement life cycle of IT products and services
- Experience in Vendor Performance Management Systems will be preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in implementing procurement for a large IT tool starting from requirements gathering from business stakeholder to license delivery
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in Commercial Off the Shelf product evaluation and implementation (ie. RFP, Technical Evaluation, Contract support, Implementation, Operationalization.)
- Airline industry experience though not essential would be an added advantage
