Job Description

Global Sports Event Qatar – Accommodation Services 

Front Office Manager (fixed term contract until January 2023)

Role based in Qatar

What you will be doing:

  • Assist the Zone Operations Manager to manage a team of 250 plus employees
  • Assist to manage the accommodation services for 10,000 plus rooms
  • To record all incidents or complaints and inform the management for a quick response and maintain guest satisfaction
  • To ensure a strict control of room keys.
  • To ensure proper completion of all local government requirements concerning guests.
  • Ensure a smooth running of the daily operations

Your experience and skills include:

  • Minimum of 4 years Front Office operations experience in the hospitality sector is desired, experience in Qatar is a plus
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written), any additional language is a plus
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar position in a large scale property
  • Experience with larger teams of 250 plus
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
  • Confident with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and problem solving abilities
  • Highly responsible & reliable
  • A hands-on approach is essential
  • A valid driver’s license, ideally in Qatar or an International Driver’s License is a plus
  • Knowledge in project- and/or risk-management is a plus
  • Middle East hotel pre-opening experience desirable
  • Service focused personality is essential and previous leadership experience required
