Job Description
We are hiring a Security Learning Specialist whose responsibility will be to facilitate and continuously improve security training across the Qatar Airways Group as well as approved external organisations in Doha and throughout the QR network. You will ensure that certified training is delivered to the highest standard and that the training reflects the guidance and direction of governing bodies.
Other operational duties will include:
Facilitating learner-focused training programs to a world-class standard, using adult learning and learner focused techniques
Conducting approved assessments to measure levels of students’ competence
Monitoring regulators standards to ensure training is compliant and current.
Implementing the effectiveness and efficiency of learning by delivering program to align with 70:20:10 principles
Designing and developing security-related courses and programs which comply with the security regulations and procedures and best practice methodology as directed by the Line Manager
Planning and designing learning events (i.e. conferences, communities of practice) as well as implementing opportunities for members of staff to network, communicate, mentor and learn from each other.
Building strong relationships with the stakeholders, customers and teams within the organisation to understand the learning gaps within the business thus researching and recommending the best practices in collaborative security-related learning.

Qualifications
About You
If selected, you will join the HR – Talent Development team and will report directly to the Manager of Security Development. A successful candidate should possess the following qualifications:
Relevant College or University qualification to a min Bachelor’s level or equivalent
A formal Aviation security trainer accreditation required from ICAO/IATA/Civil Aviation authority.
A minimum of 5 years of job-related Aviation Security experience.
At least 2 years of experience in Aviation Security Training.
Well-developed interpersonal skills.
Sound knowledge of MS word and PowerPoint.
Experience in training in multi-cultural environment.
Instructional ability.
Aviation Security subject matter competence.
