  • Assess, design and implement new products & services through different Releases on Oracle Siebel Open UI, Mass Market & EBU CRM to ensure reaching the required business needs.
  • Lead and handle the development team resources (Vodafone or third party resources) in the Agile project, to ensure the delivery is on time and of high quality, as aligned with domain manager.
  • Supervise and assign PBIs to the team and its progress.
  • Lead the requirement assessment of Open UI impacts for usual business projects.
  • Ensure the Siebel Open UI team adheres to the industry best practices and design guidance provided by domain manager.
  • Closely work with Scrum master and product manager of the agile team for sprint and deployment planning
  • Train the new resources in the team on the existing technical framework and functionalities.
  • Support test teams, and business product managers throughout testing phases of the releases.
  • Support deployment including writing deployment guides, raising RFCs.
  • Collaborate with the rest of the team to design & implement capability enhancements.
  • Report & highlight to CRM Domain manager any risks or issues in design and build.
  • Support operations team in analysing issues reported in live environment
  • Delivering required business & technology releases according to schedule and with quality meeting Vodafone’s standards.
  • Prepare all the needed RFCs and Change requests for Service Management according to the SLA.
  • Ensure all documentation with respect to high and low level designs is complete and following the quality standards and guidance set by domain manager.
  • Highlights any risk or issue that may affect in progress and delivered design and performance of the system.

Skills

  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Equivalent
  • 8 to 12 years’ experience in product & solution development in a Telco or at a technology vendor with a telecommunication focus.

With us you will:

  • Monitor/manage project schedule, costs and quality.
  • Manage the vendor interface between Subcontractor as the overall accountable vendor and the fibre connectivity service vendor.
  • Perform vendor management/follow up and project control in addition to assure timely and accurate status reporting to all project stakeholders, including regular schedule and cost tracking.
  • Identify and address customer dependencies, clearly and in a timely manner.
  • Support the agreed project change control procedure to keep the project within the approved scope, cost, and timeline.
  • Evaluate any project change request, perform proper assessment, share the outcome with the overall PM / change control board and highlight related opportunities/risks with needed assumptions.
  • Mitigates project risks and resolves issues on a timely basis or escalates whenever needed.
  • Manage and resolve technical and design issue between the various stakeholders.
  • Confirm the acceptance criteria with customer and assure successful service delivery and complete service acceptance by customer.
  • Record/track all projects delays with clear supportive evidence to assure clear accountability/ownership for each delay.
  • Maintains a repository of all technical project-related documents for use throughout the project, for historical reference, and for audits.
  • Manage the development of the operations manual and sign-off by the customer.
  • Manage the creation of closeout documentation and sign-off by the customer.
  • Formally closes the project and hands-off to the customer.
  • Support vendor payment approval process and invoicing process towards the customer.
  • Create a detailed weekly reporting, to steer the Subcontractor and address customer dependencies.
  • Candidates need to be experienced in telecom technologies like microwave, TETRA, fibre technologies, etc.

Skills

Apply if you have:

  • Engineering degree in Electronics/Telecommunications or relevant major
  • Knowledge in the service delivery of fixed, Enterprise mobile &Tetra based telecommunication services.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize multiple complex deliveries for Enterprise services
  • Good communication skills; both written and oral with technical and non-technical staff, all levels of management
  • Proven team-building skills with technical and non-technical staff
  • Substantial technological background, gained in global, multi-cultural organisations
  • Align with rollout, network and service management teams to provide the best delivery experience to meet the customer service requirement
  • Provide feedback and update internal and external stakeholders periodically about the project progress with standard PIP plan.
  • Good knowledge in (Nokia-Huawei-Cisco, Juniper) IP, Routing, Switching, Natting,
  • Solid understanding of fixed access network – architecture, topology, troubleshooting.

With us you will:

  • Creates engineering solutions, based on engineering requirements and reference designs

  • Follow design guidelines to ensure future proof design meeting the targeted key performance indicators
  • Is responsible for over-the-path backhaul network planning using Microwave and DWDM technologies to meet Mobile & Enterprise needs.
  • Follow up with different vendors & contractors to ensure smooth delivery on live networks with no service interruption
  • Support network operations in problems resolutions (ex. MW LOS cut, Interference, Fading, congestion), network auditing and parameters validation & regularly identifying the areas of improvement leading to cost reduction & perform overall network optimization to enhance the connectivity, capacity & availability.
  • Microwave link planning and link design
  • DWDM/CWDM network planning and design
  • International connectivity planning, design, and implementation
  • Performs related tasks consistent with skills and abilities and general responsibilities as assigned by the Line Manager.

Skills

Apply if you have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunications/Computer Science or equivalent with experience from technology related industry
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Microwave and DWDM Technologies
  • Certification in Microwave propagation models and microwave link planning, link design software Pathloss V4/5, ITU-R P.530-7/8/14/15 standards
  • Certification in Optical Transport Network/DWDM/CWDM
  • Connectivity planning for new implementations, Routing, and path analysis
  • Microwave link design and intra and inter system frequency planning and interference analysis
  • Capacity planning to secure, OTN Backbone, OTN Access, RAN & Enterprise requirements & identify potential bottlenecks which need to be upgraded
  • Prepare the link budget and E2E topology definitions for the microwave links and DWDM/CWDM
  • Knowledge on International connectivity setup and services
