Summary Description: To support and control ERP functional modules

Responsibilities
•Support all financial modules of the JDE. This will include being the front line resource to respond to questions and issues surrounding the use of the application, as well as content oriented inquiries.
•Assist in month end financial processes and system balancing.
•Provide functional subject matter expertise, and consulting support to JD Edwards in the finance modules.
•Planning, designing and implementing features, templates and modules.
•Provide expertise in some or all of the following finance modules/functionalities: core financials (A/P, A/R, G/L), fixed assets, multicurrency, planning and budgeting, job/project costing, contract/service billing.
•Interface with customers, gain trusted advisor relationships, and provide guidance and expertise
on JD Edwards software as well as best business practices.
•Communicate face to face and over the phone with end users in gathering user requirements, walking them through designed solutions and providing CRP, supporting them in testing custom JDE applications.
•Write functional specifications for custom JDE objects and work with technical consultants in custom object development and unit testing.
•Familiarity with JDE application tables and EDI tables and ability to use SQL to query the data and do data analysis.
•Support JDE enterprise on financial applications including but not limited to general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and fixed assets.
•Configure applications to support business requirements.
•Prepare documentation to support process, functional, and technical specifications.
•Work collaboratively with business, IT, and consultant teams to analyze requirements and propose and execute solutions.
•Adhere to all established development, configuration, testing, and change control policies and procedures.
•Adhere to best practices for ERP and related systems configuration/setup
•Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience
•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
•A Minimum of 5 years’ of JD Edward’s functional experience.
•Computer skills including proficiency in common word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation programs.
•Must have excellent skills in accounting and financial software.
•Job-related experience in continuous improvement and operational support required.

JDE Technical Consultant

Summary Description: To Support and control ERP Technical modules.

Responsibilities
•Review and analyze business requirements and develop solutions using JDE and other available tools that enhance or support our business and operations.
•Write complex reports using developer toolkit, enterprise report writer, BI publisher, and other third party reporting tools as needed.
•Develop, code and test JDE deliverables according to JDE best practices
•Participate in defining project proposals and estimates, statements of work project plans and implementation strategies for reports, interfaces, conversions, and enhancements (“RICEâ€).
•Ensure quality of RICE deliverables using development testing methods, code reviews and user acceptance testing.
•Setup and monitor scheduled jobs and monitor JDE and JAS logs.
•Participate in and contribute to analysis, design and value addition activities in the system and its related process improvements, JDE integrations and/or system upgrades.
•Perform assigned tasks with minimal guidance and demonstrate basic business knowledge.
•Create/update documents for support activities with respect to business processes.
•Validate the design and other details with the stakeholders to ensure that the design satisfies the requirements.
•Analyze and understand existing software, and document the state of configuration.
•Assist technical teams with change management and technical skills.
•Perform other duties as assigned.
