Job Description
The Technical-Commercial reports to the Commercial Director of TROUVAY & CAUVIN Africa. He/She is responsible for the management and development of his/her turnover, for the customers, products and divisions which have been assigned to him/her, while ensuring the growth of the profitability of his/her activity.
The Technical-Commercial carries out the commercial and administrative processing of its customers’ orders with a view to quality (service, cost, time, etc.). For this he/she travels frequently (around 80% of his/her time visiting customers).
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Relations with customers and prospects:
- Promotes the products and activities of the TROUVAY & CAUVIN group on assigned markets,
- Develops, follows and maintains close relationships with existing customers and prospects,
- Identifies and seeks new opportunities for all group products,
- Prepares and submits quotes and commercial offers in accordance with customer requests and internal sales conditions,
- Ensures the follow-up of offers and technical and commercial negotiations,
- Receives and confirms orders, processes them via the ERP system,
- Write weekly visit reports.
Relations with suppliers
- Selects local and foreign suppliers for material supply and maintains relationships with key suppliers,
- Follow up on supplier quotes,
- Reviews supplier’s offer to ensure it is in line with customer requirements and within authorized limits.
- Provides monthly reporting to the strategic partners/suppliers that the company represents.
- Organizes customer visits in collaboration with the company’s strategic partners/suppliers in order to develop sales and services
Sales and after-sales follow-up:
- Organizes and monitors order deliveries with the various third parties involved (suppliers, freight forwarders, authorities, customers) until invoices are issued and paid for.
- Follow up on payment .
- Handle customer complaints.
- Is a force of proposals to develop all other sales, services and partnerships.

Job Description
We are hiring a Technical Sales Service Engineer, for our Branch TROUVAY & CAUVIN Trading and Services LLC based in Doha – Qatar, ideally with Qatar Transferable Visa, and ready to start at the earliest.
Reporting to the General Manager, you will be the key person in charge of our offshore/onshore services implementation and achievement in Qatar.
You should be able to set up actions plans and/or countermeasures to meet monthly service agenda and annual targets and report to our international partner as well as our clients
The position will give to the candidate the opportunity to grow in developing and managing a complete Service team (recruitment, training & coaching) covering the entire area and establish a Service workshop in Qatar along with a warehouse for spare parts (Service delivery hub for the Middle-East region).
Your duties will include:
- Providing solutions to periodic and statutory inspections,
- Handling the in-house and on-site operations,
- Performing the on-line diagnostic inspections but also repair of valves
- Planning and overseeing all service deliveries, issuing technical reports given to the customer,
- Analyzing customer needs coming from the customer maintenance and procurement department and preparing relevant quotations related to service,
- Ordering the spare parts as necessary,
- Managing the customers (end users/contractors) and partners relationship,
- Monitoring the day to day Quality Assurance and Technical Assurance activities,
- Dealing with customers claims
- Monitoring the Health, and Safety practices, ethics and codes of conduct within his department,
Knowledge and skill requirements:
- The candidate should have a valid Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent and a steady experience (3 to 5 years mini with proven technical knowledge in industrial valves and their maintenance at site.
- Strong experience in overhauling and valves maintenance is required
- Additional experiences such as actuators maintenance and commissioning , instrumentations systems implementation, or similar products will be an edge
Full understanding of Dry Docks / Shipyards operations and work processes thanks to previous experience(s)
- Professional verbal and written communication skills in English,
- Open-minded, excellent communication and interpersonal skills,
- Leadership and management skills,
- Mobile and willing to travel at short notice,
- Computer literate with the ability to learn new software applications-knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Job Description
We are hiring a JUNIOR QA/QC ENGINEER – PROJECT COORDINATOR, for our Branch based in Doha – QATAR, ready to start at the earliest.
Job Functions:
- Inspections of incoming and outgoing materials (piping equipment and industrial valves), and take necessary action in the event of a non-conformance,
- Review the material certificates, MTC documentation, instrument calibration, generation of inspection and test plans,
- Support the Yard Manager and the Operations Manager on all quality control functions and liaise with Management, Staff, Clients, Suppliers and Authorities when necessary to ensure quality compliance with our projects requirements and standards
Job Requirements:
- A valid Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 2-3 years’ experience and familiar with major Oil & Gas standards,
- Be familiar with projects life cycle in Oil & Gas Industry, and have good knowledge of document cycle with EPIC contractors, and End Users like QP, QG, NOC etc,
- Proven technical knowledge on Project Documentation (ITP / GAD. P&ID, SPIR, MRB, Procedures, transmittals etc…). Tasks require projects coordination skills, drive to succeed and excellent organizational skills
