Job Description

Automation Sales Support Intern

1. Be able to coordinate and liaise with sales team, customers, Partners for tasks assigned by sales team.

2. Support preparation of necessary documentation for offer submission, order processing and logistic coordination between the partners and the OM team.

3. Support preparation of necessary technical documents and letters to the partners on a timely basis.

4. Helps the sales by working very closely with the Order Management team and track the deliveries of the orders and communicate to partners on a timely basis. Having weekly meetings with major partners to understand the delivery expectations and coordinate with the OM team to support on the same.

5. Support the sales team with the yearly Partner certification process and the necessary documentation associated with the same.

6. Independently handle industry tools and other administrative processes such as Damex etc.

7. Prepare product based quotations by doing necessary minimal configurations for received enquiries based on site visits and customer meetings / process requirements to align on the customer technical needs

8. Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Power point and MS Word.

9. Should have passion to learn and going extra mile to support the Sales team and the customers.

10. Technical knowledge of Electrical and Electronics domain would be preferred

We are recruiting a General Counsel for our Qatar operation. Based in Doha, this role will be part of our multinational and multi functional Legal team in the Middle East which is part of the global Legal community in Siemens. You will be the independent but fully integrated business partner for local business leads as well as the management. The role will report to the General Counsel Middle East in Dubai.
What are my responsibilities?
• As a trusted business advisor and senior member of the team you will counsel business partners and management on all upcoming legal topics, including various shareholder-related aspects. You will ensure effective legal risk management by addressing legal risks and opportunities, applying a legal and entrepreneurial perspective making use of the opportunities the law provides. You will independently form decisions and assume responsibility for them.
• As Company Secretary, you will ensure adherence to the corporate requirements, like Board of Director meetings, annual General Assembly, effecting changes in shareholder ships as well as Board memberships.
• You will lead a small team of legal professionals and ensure the growth of the team members. You will secure the exchange and extension of knowledge within the team and the wider Legal & Compliance community.
• You will manage local court cases and the defense strategy in alignment with the Litigation Department and Legal in UAE, to be effected through the mandated local law firm(s).
• You will be responsible for managing the legal budget, including local external law firms
What do I need to qualify for this job?
• You have an excellent academic record in law and are fully qualified to practice law in your home country or another jurisdiction
• During your 5-8 years of experience PQE you held different legal positions or equal positions in international law firms or legal departments of other big multinationals
• You have detailed knowledge of foreign law systems and a great understanding of legal and economic correlations; knowledge of companies, antitrust and technology transfer laws would be beneficial as well as would be knowledge about digitalization, IoT and data (residency) laws.
• You have experience in managing a legal team
• Strong intercultural and communication skills support your ability to explain complex legal and contract management matters and compliment your strong drafting and negotiation skills
• You are fluent in English and able to work cooperatively and collaboratively within the global Siemens legal team.

In this role you will be part of the high-performance project execution team based in Qatar. In addition to contributing to the successful execution of the project, you will be supporting in troubleshooting, technical bid / proposal as well as onsite & offsite service support.

Your Qualifications And Skills – Digital And Solid!

· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation & Control, or equivalent)

· Minimum 10 years’ experience in Automation & Control

· Should have proven hands-on experience in the following:

o PCS7, WinCC, TIA and STEP 7 programming

o PCS7 Safety Matrix and Cause & Effect Matrix.

o Server & Client Configuration, Process Historian & Information Server

o S7-400 H/FH systems & Remote IO stations ET200M, ET200SP, ET200SP HA, etc.

o PLC logic development in SCL, STL, CFC, SFC, etc.

o Communication protocols like Modbus, Profibus DP & PA, OPC UA, TCP/IP, MPI, other industrial network protocols, etc.

o Development / customization of block icons/faceplates in WinCC / SCADA.

o Using VBA and other scripting tools.

· Proficient in Customer handling, Project Coordination and Management skills with good and fluent communication skills

· Experience on Troubleshooting & Analytical skills with Solution-Orientated approach.

· Experience Technical Support and feasibility reviews, Software & Hardware Design, Engineering, Development, Testing, Commissioning, Handover, Documentation.

· Experience & ability to handle project plans, identify, analyze, prioritize, mitigate and communicate project risks

· Experience & ability to conduct Trainings on Siemens technical product and applications.

· Experience on preparing technical document for bids and supporting in technical clarification meetings during bidding stage.

· Experience project Upgrade, Migration, Shutdown and Maintenance services

· Certification in Automation and Control

· Should be responsible, flexible, committed, efficient, creative and showcase ownership

· Should be proficient in English

Ensures efficient and effective Project Management and execution processes and their standardized deployment to the EPS units throughout QA, and ensures adherence to defined and agreed processes and commercial standards and guidelines
• Overall responsibility for Project Management / execution/implementation of EPS projects across QA through the management of the country EPS units
• Owns the EPS project execution processes in the QA
• Standardizes project related governance processes ([email protected]) and ensures implementation across the Region
• Facilitates training, sharing of resources, methodologies, knowledge, tools and techniques across the Region
• Takes care for effective risk management measures on EPS QA level for projects in execution
• Ensures that the EPS project execution operations meet all agreed performance goals
• Ensures effective cooperation with stakeholders; clarifies organizational issues
Your Qualifications And Skills – Digital And Solid!
• University degree or higher education in business or science/engineering or equivalent degree
• At least 10 years of experience in project implementation/execution and subcontractor
• negotiations in the areas of HVAC, energy generation/storage and industrial process related equipment/assets
• some years of experience in managing projects as the main contractor dealing with multiple subcontractors/vendors
• At least 5 years of experience in dealing with projects, customers and colleagues from different countries and cultures
• Strong commercial and legal competence as well as technical know-how within the relevant areas

Qualifications

· At least 3-5 years of experience in administration or office management

· Excellent networking and communication skills

· Must be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
