About the role:

As a Finance Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for helping us achieve this ambition through:

• Managing a set of accounting activities to ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles, corporate policies and external audits.
• Being responsible to manage the accounts payable, accounts receivable functions, and a multitude of accounting activities including general ledger preparation, financial reporting, year-end audit preparation and the support of budget and forecast activities.
• Overseeing the daily activities of the accounting team and ensuring that all the major projects, month-end and year- end reports are completed accurately and on time.
• Managing the monthly financial close process, including ensuring all costs incurred are properly recorded, reviewing journal entries, account balance reconciliations and report preparation.
• Ensuring that all accounting processes are align with General Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and current financial legislation.
• Preparing, maintaining, balancing and analyzing financial data related to AP/AR; review the monthly AR reports, and generating monthly customer statements.
• Reviewing/approving credit memos, processing AR corrections, and reviewing/posting AR cash receipts to ensure the integrity of the AR subsidiary ledger
• Being responsible for the preparation and verification of Vendor payments, maintains all AP reports, spreadsheets and files.

Qualifications

About you:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent with minimum 6 years of job-related experience.
• CA/CPA/ACCA/CIMA or MBA in Finance (or minimum 4 years experience in a similar position)
• Must have strong knowledge of IFRS
• Big 4 audit experience is preferred
• Relevant professional experience in the airport industry.
