Reporting to Cargo Network Optimization and Strategy Manager, your role is to optimize structural cargo flows across the QR cargo network. You will manage incoming requests for structural capacity on a seasonal basis from a selected origin region. You will need to monitor performance of commitments and take proactive and corrective actions in case it does not meet the set thresholds.
The Flight Analyst – RM Network Optimization is responsible for a selected origin region and combined with the Lead Analysts gets to make commercial and strategic decisions to deliver maximal network contribution across the QR network. This happens by:
- Evaluate incoming allocation requests and decide if they meet the set commercial thresholds and operational restrictions of the aircraft and origin/destination airport.
- Find capacity options for structural requests which meet the conditions as specified above.
- Understanding market demand by analysing data, refining that into a strategy and taking necessary actions on the medium term.
- Working closely with Sales teams to drive desired flows of cargo out of his/her origin region.
- Review and communicate performance of structural flows to sales teams, taking corrective actions in case of low / non-performance.
- Manage the impact of long term capacity changes for the structural flows on a route.
The Flight Analysist – RM Network Optimization may require flexibility in working hours and days of the week. Since our network covers the entire globe and close alignment with sales teams may be required at times. However the general work week is in line with local standards.
