QUALIFICATIONS

  • Solid career progression and track record of professional success in an IT strategy consulting firm, a high performing IT department, a technology company, a technology-leveraged business, or managing large IT projects (candidates might have experience as traditional IT consultants, CIOs, CTOs, senior level IT executives, etc.)

– IT Architecture and technology delivery, incl. Agile and DevOps experience in software delivery and business and technology architecture (open architecture, micro-services, APIs): understands the critical components of and can develop technology infrastructure and architecture; has the ability to build applications, computing platforms, infrastructure, etc.; skills in and knowledge of standards, protocols, project tools, applications, and trends; experience as a technology/solutions/systems architect or senior level manager of similar functions; background in functional and applications architecture assessment, development, and implementation; experience integrating, migrating, converting and/or optimizing systems and applications; experience designing and implementing frameworks, tools, services, processes, etc.

– Technology-enabled operations and foundation, incl. next generation infrastructure services (e.g. cloud, end-to-end automation, No-Ops, PaaS), data architecture and advanced analytics and cyber-security and IT defenses (e.g. cyber security, data privacy): passionate about operations and technology and their intersection; experience in operational process redesign, ERP/decision support systems, web enablement, vendor solutions providers: experience in engineering, product development, procurement/purchasing, manufacturing, production, maintenance, supply chain management, or other operations/supply chain experience from an industrial, technological, or service-based company or with another consulting firm

While all consultants develop specialized knowledge and a focused program as they progress with McKinsey, most are initially very broad in their focus, meaning they do not need specific industry or functional expertise to be successful. For consultants who join McKinsey as experienced professionals, this can mean building on previous knowledge or developing unique experience in an area that is completely new.

Associate – Implementation

You’ll join in one of our locations around the world, working with our McKinsey Implementation (MI) team.

You will be based in our Doha, Qatar office as an integral member of our Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa (EEMA) recruiting team and the firm’s recruiting community. You will collaborate closely with the recruiting team and office leadership to lead recruiting strategy and candidate life cycle recruiting efforts for the office location and continue to innovate McKinsey’s recruiting strategy.
You will be a strategic and creative leader primarily responsible for driving and managing all aspects of recruiting for firm services professionals in the EEMA region.
In this role, you will lead all recruiting efforts to attract, assess and cultivate talent from core and emerging sources. This includes identifying and building personal relationships with target candidates, managing a high volume of applications and leading and/or supporting large scale interview days as well as cultivating relationships in celebration events.
You will also be responsible for tracking and analyzing recruiting results and disseminate all relevant information relating to your efforts including developing annual analysis of recruiting results against historical and competitive benchmarks and identifying strategies to improve recruiting initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • University degree
  • 2+ years of recruiting experience with knowledge of professional services-based recruiting is a strong plus
