Job Description

Summary of the Role

You will apply extensive knowledge and experience of information, cybersecurity and technology risk concepts to skillfully assess and evaluate the current cyber risk and maturity levels of companies for KPMG Qatar. You will strategically lead KPMG’s cyber assessment program leveraging key standards frameworks such as Qatar 2022 FIFA Framework, NIST, HITRUST, SOC 2, ISO 27001, and HIPAA. You will contribute to the establishment of the overall KPMG cyber strategy & governance practice and be responsible for appropriately supporting the implementation of the strategy.

You will engage in conducting the assessment of cybersecurity processes, risk, controls and compliance against leading practice, industry or client frameworks specifically Qatar 2022 cybersecurity framework. You will assess capability maturity, identify gaps in design and execution, and communicate issues and recommendations to relevant stakeholders and client senior management. You will build and practice assessing, designing and implementing new cyber risk and control frameworks, sustainable solutions (including applying knowledge of governance, risk and compliance tools), operating processes and people models to address key and evolving risks.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive cybersecurity assessments leveraging leading frameworks specifically Qatar 2022 FIFA framework. The assessment should cover computer systems, networks, and applications operating in information technology and operational technology environments. The assessment should also cover on-premises and cloud computing settings.
  • Analyze security data and develop reports to provide recommendations for improving security posture (maturity and risk). Analyze and interpret cybersecurity audit and assessment results including evidence-based validation through knowledge of evidence requisition, inspection and evaluation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Develop and maintain documentation of assessment processes and results.
  • Document all findings, observations, and recommendations into RSA Archer platform.
  • Develop and articulate practical and pragmatic roadmaps covering all the cybersecurity pillars, capabilities, services and controls in the framework.
  • Collaborate with other stakeholders to ensure the implementation of remediation plans and track progress to completion.
  • Monitor, evaluate, and report on security risks and trends, and recommend enhancements to current security practices to strengthen the organization’s overall security posture.
  • Keep up to date with the latest trends and emerging threats in cybersecurity.

The person

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in cybersecurity assessment, risk management, or related fields.
  • Deep understanding of cybersecurity concepts, principles, and best practices.
  • Relevant industry certifications such as Security+, CISSP, CISA, CISM, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, CCSP, CRISC or vendors specific certifications.
  • Strong knowledge of all security technologies covering capabilities such as identity and access management (IAM), security operation center (SOC), data protection, network security technologies and protocols such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and VPNs.
  • In depth knowledge of security frameworks and compliance standards such as Qatar 2022 FIFA Framework, NIST, PCI DSS, NIAF, ISA, HIPAA, HITRUST, HITECH, FISMA, ISO 3100, ISO 2700X, COBIT, FFIEC, NERC CIP.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Highly effective written and oral communication skills; ability to articulate security gaps, opportunities for improvement and recommendations for corrective action initiatives.
  • Capability to identify similarities and differences between frameworks, extrapolate requirements to new regulations and standards, and evaluate current controls against target performance objectives.
  • Experience in risk assessment techniques and Hands-on experience in GRC/ERM tools (e.g. RSA Archer, MetricStream, SAP GRC, Logic manager, etc.).
  • Experience in managed security service providers and service level agreements specifically for SOC providers.
  • Cloud knowledge is a plus.
  • Operational Technology knowledge is a plus.

Summary of the Role

Work as part of a proactive team of support staff responsible for delivering a high-quality, customer-focused professional service. Providing the very highest level of technical support and customer service to internal staff.

The role:

  • Support development by creating Sharepoint online Sites, Document libraries/ lists, PowerApps, and Flows.
  • Supporting the ITS team to ensure that all server hardware, operating systems, software, and procedures are aligned with organizational standards and strategic business plans.
  • Perform regular security monitoring to identify any possible intrusions.
  • Creating and managing the users, groups, GPOs on the Active Directory, and mailboxes.
  • Providing Hardware/Software supports for end users.
  • Configuring/Deploying new services or applications as necessary.
  • Maintain data center environmental and monitoring equipment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a technology-related field.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in Information Technology Systems Support including installation, configuration, troubleshooting, monitoring, and maintenance of various IT systems and devices.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, Group Policy, Microsoft Exchange, and O365 products.
  • Good scripting/programming knowledge of any programming language.

Primary Job Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

  • Planning, leading, managing and supervising execution of external banking audit engagements within agreed budgets and deadlines,
