Job Description

What you will be doing:

Manages the day to day housekeeping business in the assigned building(s)
Leads a team of 150 plus employees
Ensures that rooms are cleaned according to cleanliness, maintenance and amenties
Ensures that employees comply with the policies and procedures
Controls that health and safety measures are followed
Conducts routine inspections to ensure that service level is maintained
Monitors standards for uniforms and hygiene
Assists in controlling continuous training – on the job skills
Collaborates with other departments in an effective and friendly manner

Your experience and skills include:

Fluent in English (spoken and written), any additional language is a plus
At least 8 years of housekeeping experience
At least 2 years of experience in a similar position in a large scale property
Strong interpersonal, communication and problem solving abilities
Highly responsible & reliable
A hands-on approach is essential
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
Proven ability to build and maintain good relationships with all stakeholders

Shift Engineer – LA Cigale

To assist the Assistant Engineer or Assistant Chief engineer and the management in providing a safe, secure and comfortable environment by maintaining the hotel’s assets through ongoing preventative maintenance as well as day to day maintenance activities, and ensuring that all machineries, equipment and plants are operating efficiently

What you will be doing:

Directs and controls all subordinate engineering staff to ensure that all day to day operational matters are handled on time and that guest and company expectations are met
Maintains facilities and equipment by conducting routine inspections and determining appropriate rectification measures.
Planning and monitoring with the Asst. Engineer/Asst. Chief engineer the day to day operation efficiently in a timely manner.
Assists in the preparation of duty rosters, vacation plans and public holiday scheduling.
Ensures the implementation and follow up of ongoing preventive maintenance programs.
Ensure a close follow up of inventory procedures and material control.
Ensures the implementation and follow up of energy conservation programs

Your experience and skills include:

Conversant with relevant emergency procedures.
Knowledge of relevant rules and regulations.
Knowledge of relevant safety and security procedures.
English language requirements met or exceeded.
