Expro Group are currently recruiting for a Operations Coordinator, Slickline to join the Well Intervention team based in Doha.

Overall Purpose of the Job

To assist with the smooth and efficient running of all operations for product line in area of responsibility. Responsible for coordinating the manpower and technical requirements e.g. the movement of equipment, materials and personnel to ensure actioned in line with clients’ requirements.

Key Activities and Accountabilities

1. Liaise with clients to determine personnel and equipment requirements and arrange for their mobilisation in line with operational and client deadlines

2. Advise client on operational and equipment limitations or problems and offer alternative solutions wherever practical

3. Ensure all equipment is maintained and in compliance with certification requirements, so it is fit for purpose

4. Undertake the planning of manpower requirements to ensure availability of resources for the project in line with operational requirements. May be involved in recruitment of staff or contract personnel as necessary.

5. Monitor costs of equipment, manpower and associated items to ensure project /task costs are contained within approved budget and highlight any issues in a timely manner to Management

6. Ensure all costs and required information is collated for the invoicing process to ensure their accurate completion in a timely manner

7. May coordinate the engagement and use of third party services and equipment within assigned location.

8. To liaise with the Group Competence and Training department to identify the training requirements and plan for the most effective training regime for new and existing Slickline personnel.

9. Ensure completion of required documentation and accuracy of data for company procedures, processes and specific client’s reporting requirements is undertaken

11. Undertake the supervision of direct reports where applicable

12. May be required to undertake an on call rota to facilitate 24 hour coverage on operations performance /technical status to customer, team in the field and internal management

13. Liaise with client, operational team, management and internal departments as and when required to ensure all aspects of the operations are discussed with the relevant parties to ensure effective communication to allow continued safe operations and task completion within deadlines

Job Knowledge and Qualifications

1. Formal technical qualification

2. 6+ years technical experience preferable within product line including wellsite/field experience

3. Previous supervisory experience

4. Broad knowledge of Expro Slickline products and services

Expro Group are currently recruiting for a Project Controls Engineer to join the Production team based in Dubai.

Overall Purpose of the Job:

The Project Controls Engineer will work with the Proposals and Project delivery teams, supporting both functions as required with preparation of schedules, resource estimates, Project Control plans and procedures, progress reports, cost trackers etc.

Key Activities and Accountabilities:

Work closely with Proposal team to develop schedules in sufficient detail to determine the schedule that will be committed to by Expro during the bidding phase.
Develop Project Controls procedures for submission as part of proposals or project deliverables i.e. Planning Procedure; Progress Measurement Procedure; VOWD etc.
During project execution, work with the Project Manager and project team to develop a schedule that reflects an achievable execution strategy consistent with the contractual delivery date.
Regularly update the project schedule and prepare project progress reports (including S-Curves; Histograms, Earned Value etc) by gathering information from the project team and various other data sources. Analyse the updated schedule and highlight any cause of schedule extension, critical and near critical activities and/or opportunities for schedule improvement.
Work directly with the project delivery team to ensure they are aware of the priority and deadlines for activities in order to achieve the overall schedule, by providing targeted late and lookahead reports from the schedule.
Develop and implement a process for personnel resource and cost loading of project schedules so multiple resource loaded schedules can be overlayed to establish resource requirements and cash flows.
Working with the Project Manager and project delivery team, prepare and maintain the Project Cost Tracker, ensuring that committed and forecast costs are continually updated and any positive or negative movements in the forecast to complete (FTC) are brought to the attention of the Project Manager.
Actively adhere to the Code of Conduct and Anti-Bribery policies, procedures and processes to ensure the highest ethical standards are maintained and exposure to liability or risk to Expro’s reputation is minimised. If necessary, report possible violations or conflicts of interest.
Actively adhere to and ensure compliance with applicable Quality policies, procedures, processes & systems. Take an active part in quality improvement processes. Identify and report deficiencies to supervisor and obtain authorization for any deviations from standard procedures as appropriate.
Actively comply with all applicable Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) policies, procedures and processes. Promote HSE awareness; take responsibility and be accountable for own safety and safety of others. Demonstrate the personal application of HSE procedures in daily performance and always follow the 10 Safety House Rules.

Job Knowledge and Qualifications:

Mandatory

University Degree in mechanical or construction engineering or project management, OR, relevant technical qualification and industry experience.
Minimum ten years’ experience in a similar role within the oil and gas industry.
Familiar with upstream oilfield projects technology, in particular oil/gas/water separation and treatment in both onshore and offshore applications.
Proficient in use of Microsoft Office suite of packages, including MS Project.
Detailed knowledge of interrelationship between various project phases (engineering, procurement, fabrication, logistics, civil works, mechanical and E&I installation and commissioning of Early Production Facilities (EPF) and modular equipment packages.

Advantageous

Use of Primavera planning software.
Experience working with oilfield service company, international EPC contractor or operator.

Job Description

Overall Purpose of the Job
To provide timely and accurate financial information and reports as applicable. Ensuring compliance with all legal, statutory and Sarbanes-Oxley Act across the Area.

Key Activities and Accountabilities
1. Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual closures, ensure preparation of management reports and financial statements for the legal entities are undertaken in a timely manner to meet reporting deadlines.
2. Undertake project costs analysis and highlight the deficiencies.
3. Ensuring strong balance sheet control through monthly analysis, review, and control of key balance sheet areas.
4. Ensure support to the finance manager for preparing month-end reports.
5. Liasoning the internal and external audit process by resolving queries and providing requested information.
6. Assisting in preparation of forecast and budget submissions.
7. Assistance in tracking and improving the ICV scores for UAE and Qatar.
8. Undertake ad-hoc financial and commercial projects as required by management.
9. Drive improvement to the existing financial and operational reporting systems, processes and controls.
10. Work around cost control initiatives within the Area.
11. Liaise with internal and external departments as and when required to ensure all aspects of finance processes and reporting is accurate, in compliance with company policies and procedures and in line with legislative requirements.
12. Liaise with team members, internal and external departments as and when required to ensure all questions and queries are resolved in a timely manner. Liaise with manager on any issues or concerns with the documentation to be processed.
13. Job Knowledge and Qualifications

  • Degree in a recognised accounting qualification with depth knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards.
  • 3+ years practical experience within a Finance environment.

  • Hands on experience in reporting tools such as TM1/Hyperion
