Job Description

Objectives

The role is to support the sales objectives of the company through achieving given CVP targets. This role is responsible for providing 5 stars rate service to current and potential customers of Ford & Lincoln Cars.

Responsibilities

Achieve and maintain the company prescribed standard sales policies and procedures.

Achieve or exceed CVP objectives, thereby ensuring maximum customer satisfaction and repeat sales.

Constantly improve delivery techniques & customer handling skills.

Maintain awareness of the automotive industry, update knowledge of product range, models, features, advantage and benefits.

Liaise with PDI department ensuring all deliveries within agreed timeframe.

Make sure the vehicles has done final check and walk around before its delivery to the customers.

Actively answering all customers calls and queries after delivery in a professional manners.

Continuously gauge management requirements and improvise or create reports to cater to them.

1SALES TARGET ACHIEVEMENT

· Sell vehicles to customers in order to meet or exceed the Sales Target which is set by the management

· Carry out the Sales Activities within the set standards as defined by the Division and the Manufacturer.

· Handle Customer’s objectives and issues efficiently; know when to escalate it to the higher level.

· Obtain the prospective Customer’s contact details for future follow ups and potential sales opportunity.

· Be knowledgeable on all of the Division’s vehicle product line, including specifications and cost.

· Monitor and follow up with the customer on submission of the Deposit, or Cash Payment, and the Purchase Order from a valid Financial Institution, to ensure that the vehicle is fully sold.

· Conduct customer visits, outside the showroom, as and when approved by Showroom Manager / Division Head.

· Be knowledgeable about competitor’s product lines in order to differentiate the vehicles through its strengths.

2CUSTOMER SERVICE

· Provide the utmost customer service in order to meet and exceed the set standards as measured against the Manufacturer’s Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) average for the Middle East.

· Ensure utmost courtesy and consideration for all visitors and customers coming into the showroom.

· Ensure that the Customer’s experience in purchasing the vehicle is positive from beginning till the end.

· Inform the Customer on the status of the vehicle, including the reason for the delay, for their reference.

· Provide customers with extra service, as and when possible, set within the legal parameters, standards and values of the Group / Division.

3POST SALES PROCESSING

· Carry out all Post Sales activities, after closing of the deal, to ensure the timely handover of the vehicle to the customer.

· Prepare all relevant documentations as required to register the vehicle.

· Prepare all relevant documentations for Bank and Insurance requirements.

· Ensure that vehicles delivered matches the specifications and accessories agreed with the customer.

· Follow up with the Traffic Representative for vehicle insurance and registration processing.

· Orient the Customer on the vehicles different features and basic maintenance requirements.

· Handover the vehicle to the customer, upon completion of all documentation

Dealing with internal and external customers and serving the customers’ requirement on Parts in order to support the Department in the sales and promotion of Parts and achieving its sales targets.

· Carry out the sales and promotion of Parts, sold by the Division, to the Customers in order to meet or exceed the Sales Target / Objectives of the Department / Division.

· Welcome the customers understand and listen carefully to their request.

· Issue the correct parts with the help of EPC (electronic parts catalogue).

· Update information on supersession and provides customers with the correct advice.

· Update technical information.

· Attend to telephone enquiries and orders of spare parts.

· Advice customers on substitution or modification of the parts when identical replacements are not available.

· Promote accessory sales.

· Provide proper technical information of the parts to the customer if required.

· Determine replacement parts required according to inspections of old parts, customer requests or customers’ descriptions of malfunctions.

2Showcasing

· Take part in the preparation and maintaining of the Parts showcase and promotional materials to attract customers.

· Ensure to update the display and showcases with new accessories and promotional materials to attract customers.

· Check and maintain the broachers and catalogues level in the parts reception area.

· Examine returned parts for defects and exchange defective parts or refund money.

3 Business Support

· Provide Business Support to the Parts Departments to facilitate in the Division’s meeting of its targets / objectives.

· Inform the Parts Manager about the competition and any other customers’ feedback and concerns.

· Keep records of lost sales and report to the Parts Manager.

· Prepare parts estimates for parts requirement and inform Parts Manager about not available parts.

4 Training and Standards

· Ensure to follow proper safety standards and dealer standards.

· Complete the all requirement of manufacturer curriculum programs and certify.
